Meet our Therapists

Stephanie Fischer, LCSW

Stephanie Fischer, LCSW, has worked in the behavioral health field since 2004, bringing over two decades of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most difficult challenges. Over the course of her career, she has served in a variety of roles including therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director, giving her a well-rounded perspective and deep commitment to quality care.

Stephanie provides therapy for adults, couples, and families, and specializes in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, mood disorders, substance use, and co-occurring mental health and addiction concerns. She is passionate about helping clients heal from trauma and develop the tools needed for lasting emotional wellness.

With advanced training in trauma-focused therapies such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Stephanie uses evidence-based approaches to help clients process painful experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

”Therapy is a place to feel safe, understood, and supported as you move toward lasting change.”

Sean Dowling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience working in the substance use and mental health field. He earned his Master of Social Work from Marywood University and has worked across multiple levels of care, supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions.

Sean’s approach to therapy is collaborative, grounded, and practical. He draws from evidence-based modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and DBT-informed skills, while integrating mindfulness practices and trauma-responsive care. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, Sean helps clients clarify their values, understand patterns that keep them stuck, and take meaningful steps toward the life they want to build.

“I believe in the innate strengths of my clients and feel they are all capable of tangible growth, rebuilding trust in themselves, and of moving confidently towards the life they want.”
